 **概要(Abstract) [#m36ff78f]
 >The presenter will model activities and outline tasks to help participants incorporate pronunciation practice in their speaking courses. These tasks and activities will focus on the micro and the macro of pronunciation, from the individual sounds in English words to the contours and rhythm of English sentences.  While playful and game-like, these activities are designed to fully engage students both physically and intellectually, to involve them and make use of all the resources they bring to the classroom. The presenter will introduce a wall chart he has developed to help students work on the sounds of English, and he will explain how other materials such as Cuisenaire rods may be used to focus students’ attention on different aspects of pronunciation. Many of the activities, however, require no special materials or preparation.

 >This presentation discusses the relationships between motivation and strategy use to learn spoken English by 355 Bangladeshi students at four different universities.  Participants were asked to answer the modified motivation and language learning strategy questionnaires.  The data of both instruments were analyzed separately first to find out the factors of motivation and strategy use.  Pearson correlations were examined to understand the relationships between the factors.  The findings of the study suggest several pedagogical implications to teach spoken English to Bangladeshi university students in academic settings.
